Spring Break Recap

Spring Break is the time to relax, catch up on some sleep, watch hours of bad reality television and eat eight bags of Siriacha potato chips. Or, it's the time to watch a lot of bad movies that you would never watch even if you did have all the time in the world. Don't ask, I don't know how it happens either. But it does.

In the past three days alone, I've watched a good collection of movies that I'm not sure were a great use of time. But it's okay because at least I didn't watch Spring Breakers again.

Project X
Okay, okay I know this one is a little overdue, but after watching it for the first time I had to watch it all over again. Not only was the soundtrack of this film awesome,  but the storyline wasn't too bad either- that is, for another movie about teenage boys partying. I've watched it three times in two days, so, I don't know if that tells you anything, but it's the truth. So there's that.

Wolf of Wallstreet
First things first, I love Leo. And I mean L.O.V.E. But you gotta be in this movie for the long haul. In fact, I felt like I needed an adderall just to make it through the movie. Or at least some Starbucks. All in all though, it is a must see and the fact that Leo didn't get an Oscar makes me want to lay face down on a busy highway because if he can't get one, who can? Ugh. Namaste Leo, your time will come.

Endless Love
The acting is horrible, the storyline is cheesy, but if you're craving a Nicholas Sparks-esque love story it's not half bad. Think of it as a Lifetime movie - it's a good  for a rainy day or if you just want to cry. Or laugh. Because unfortunately, Alex Pettyfer's performance as David was so terrible it was almost comedic. It's a good thing he's hot though, right? ... Right? p.s. Jeremy Sumpter where you been?

Grace Unplugged
Maybe it was the Aly & Aj fan in me that made me want to watch this one. I'm not sure, I can't tell you, but I watched it. Overall, it wasn't bad. I was kinda into it. Aly Michalka is still awesome. And pretty. And good at singing. And chic. I miss you, old Disney Channel.

Dallas Buyers Club
Jared Leto is more beautiful than all of us and I'm not quite sure what to do with that.

Her
Excuse me, but when I started watching a movie about a man with a strange mustache falling in love with his computer I did not expect to be emotionally destroyed at the end. What is love? Who is love? Will anyone ever know? Help me before I find myself with a bag of chips and queso in the fetal position.

Rabbit Hole
A slow-moving drama and not exactly a must-see, but it does have Miles Teller in it which is good enough for me. That's about all I have to say really. Christina Oh from Grey's Anatomy is in it too and she smokes a lot of pot, so... there's that.

What did I watch? I'm not sure. But I think it was chic.
And also, I can't stop doing that weird chant that Matthew McConaughey does at the beginning of Wolf of Wallstreet... Not sure if that's chic. But whatev. He won an Oscar.
xxxxooooo
